Anonymus 482 was a patrikios, basilikos protospatharios and strategos of Sicilia; owner of a seal dateable between the mid eighth century and the mid ninth; his name is lost but included the letter ..α.. (?Ἰοάννης): Zacos and Veglery 2612. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +..α.. - πατρηκ - β' α' σπαθ' κ - στρατηγο [Σ] - ηκεληας - αμην. The name and titles read: ..α.. πατρικίῳ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ Σικελίας.
