Anonymus 477 was an oikonomos of Smyrna; owner of a seal dateable between the mid eighth and mid ninth centuries, possibly the early ninth; his name is missing: DOSeals III 35. 5 = Zacos and Veglery 2277 (M VIII/M IX) = Laurent, Corpus V 3, 1809 (E IX). Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +οι - κονομ - ω Σμυρ - νης. He was probably a cleric of the church of Smyrna.
