Anonymus 472 was the owner of a seal dateable to the late seventh or early eighth century; his name and titles are in the form of a cruciform monogram, whose interpretation is unknown: Zacos and Veglery 1349. Obv.: Virgin Hoghegetria and Child, with cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει. Rev.: cruciform monogram of unknown interpretation, presumably containing the owner's name and title. The letters on the monogram are: α, ο, υ, β, θ, κ, ν, ρ, and possibly δ, ι and λ.
