Anonymus 462 was a patrikios, basilikos protospatharios and strategos of Hellas; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the eighth century; his name is lost but apparently ended in the genitive with the letters ος: DOSeals II 8.56 = Zacos and Veglery 2611. Obv.: cruciform monogram, possibly of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with .. - ς. - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: ..... - .ος πα[τρι] - κ' - β' α' σπα. - και στρατ. - γ Ελλαδ. The name and titles read: ...ος πατρικίου βασιλικοῦ πρωτοσπαθαρίου καὶ στρατηγοῦ Ἑλλάδος.
