Anonymus 459 was a patrikios, basilikos protospatharios and komes of the Opsikion; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the eighth century; his name is missing but included the letter .α.: DOSeals III 39. 38 = Zacos and Veglery 2606. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with .. - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: ...α.. - πατρικιω - β' α' σπαθα - ριω . κομ' - του οψικ - ιου. The name and titles read: ...α.. πατρικίῳ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ κόμητι τοῦ Ὀψικίου.
