Anonymus 455 was a patrikios, basilikos protospatharios and strategos of Thrace; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the eighth century; his name is lost but ended with the letters ος: Zacos and Veglery 3225. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Κύριε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δω - λω (sic) in the corners. Rev.: ...η.. - .ω πατρ - ..ηω β' α' σπ - .. κε στρα - ..γο τις Θρ - ..... The name and titles read: ...ῳ πατρικίῳ, βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ τῆς Θράκης. Possibly identical with the owner of a very similar seal, dateable to the second or final third of the eighth century; the titles are the same while the name is also mostly lost but ended with the letters νος: Seyrig 200. The name and titles read: ...νῳ πα[τρι]κίῳ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ τῆς Θρᾴκης. Cf. also Zacos and Veglery 1886 and 1887.
