Anonymus 449 was a basilikos pistikos; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth century; his name is mostly lost but ended with the letters ιος: Zacos and Veglery 2617. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: .... - ιω β' πι. - τηκω. The name and title read: ...ίῳ βασιλικῷ πιστικῷ. Zacos and Veglery proposed either Sergios or Sisinnios for the name.
