Anonymus 437 was a patrikios and strategos of the Karabisianoi; owner of a seal dateable to the seventh or eighth century (DOSeals), possibly to the first half of the eighth century (Zacos and Veglery); his name is missing: DOSeals II 58. 1 = Zacos and Veglery 2614. Obv.: cruciform monogram, perhaps of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with .. - .. - .ου - λω in the corners. Rev.: ..... - ..... - .τρ' και στ - .α' των κ - αραβης - ιανω'. The titles read: ... πατρικίῳ Καραβησιάνων.
