Anonymus 431 was a patrikios; owner of a seal dateable between the mid seventh century and the mid eighth: Zacos and Veglery 3231. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: block monogram (Zacos and Veglery monogram 47) with the letters α, β, ι, κ, ν, π, ρ, τ and ω, with the letters ε, θ and υ above it. The meaning of the monogram and the letters is uncertain; Zacos and Veglery suggest that the name and titles could be read: Βαανίῳ ἐκ Θεοῦ πατρικίῳ, and compare the seal owned by Baanes 12.
