Anonymus 426 was a kourator; owner of a seal dateable to the late seventh or early eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 576. Obv.: cruciform monogram of uncertain interpretation, containing the letters κ, ε, ς, α, ρ, ο and υ, with possibly ι and τ. Rev.: cruciform monogram of κουράτορος. The monogram of the name was designed to resemble that of the office on the reverse; a possible interpretation is perhaps Κεσαριου (for Καισαριου).
