Anonymus 424 was metropolitan bishop of Ankyra; owner of a seal dateable to the late seventh or early eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 1271 = Laurent, Corpus V 1, 336 bis. Obv.: busts of St Peter and St Paul, with crosses. Rev.: .... The name is not recorded; the text reads: Since he was a metropolitan bishop, his see was therefore Ankyra in Galatia.
