Anonymus 418 was the owner of a seal dateable to the seventh century: Speck, Bleisiegel 82. Only half the seal survives. Obv.: cross on the left and perhaps traces of a haloed head. Rev.: half a cruciform monogram with the letter ς and probably λ, τ, ο and υ. There was no central letter, and the left side is wholly missing. Presumably the monogram was a name, not a title (the closest examples are interpreted as Ιλλουστριου). Possibilities are Kallistos and Eustolios.
