Anonymus 167 was a mandator; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 536, no. 7 (facsimile) = Konstantopoulos, JIAN 6, 414. The seal is broken vertically and nearly half is missing. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Κύριε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: . ..ρ - ...φακτ - ...μανδ - ατορ[ι]. Schlumberger apparently read β (for βασιλικῷ) before μανδάτορι. The letter before the rho in the first line of the reverse ended with a vertical haft, perhaps iota or pi. The meaning of φακτ is not clear.
