Anonymus 162 was a magistros and domestikos of the Scholai; owner of a seal perhaps dateable to the ninth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 360, no. 4. The obverse has a bust of the Theotokos and the text of the seal given by Schlumberger reads: Θεοτόκε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ ......μαγίστρῳ καὶ δομεστίκῳ τῶν σχολ[ῶν]. The name of the owner is lost. The combination of magistros and domestikos of the Scholai is attested in the ninth century; cf. Petronas 5, Bardas 5, Manuel 1 and Marianos 4.
