Anonymus 148 was archon of Panormus; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 215 (from Salinas, Sigilli diplomatici). The text given by Schlumberger reads:- Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: .....γηω αρχοντη Πανορμου αμην. The name may have been Georgios or Sergios.
