Anonymus 146' s name probably began with the letter Μ. He held a dignity, now lost, and the post of strategos of Kephallenia; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 207, no. 2 (facsimile). Obv.: cruciform monogram of Κύριε or Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: Μ... - ..α.. - και στρ.. - ..ο Κε.. One half of the seal is missing. The name and titles read: Μ... ..α.. καὶ στρατηγῷ Κεφαλληνίας.
