Anonymus 144 was a basilikos spatharios and drouggarios of the Aigaion Pelagos; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 195, no. 10 (with facsimile) = p. 339, no. 8. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: ... - β' σπ' και - ..ουγ' τ' Αι - γε' Πελ'. The titles read: βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ δρουγγαρίῳ τοῦ Αἰγαίου Πελάγους. The name on the reverse is lost.
