Anonymus 116 was a protospatharios and strategos of the Armeniakoi; owner of a seal dateable to the iconoclast period (VIII/M IX): Ebersolt, Sceaux byzantins , p. 401, no. 524. Obv.: cruciform invocative monogram in the name of the Virgin. The reverse has the titles: ... πρωτοσπαθάριος and στρατηγὸς τῶν Ἀρμενιακῶν.
