Anonymus 96 was the owner of a seal dateable to the sixth or seventh century: Tsougarakis, SBS 2, p. 150, no. 50 = Starida, Byzantina Molybdoboulla, p. 47, no. 3. Obv.: bust of the Virgin with Christ. Rev.: cruciform monogram of a name, damaged. The seal was found in Crete, at Gortyna.
