Anonymus 84 was a basilikos protospatharios and strategos of Thessalonike; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century; his name seems to have contained the letter ο: DOSeals I 18.77. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε (or Κύριε) βοήθει with .ω - .. - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: ..ο..β' α' σπα' και στρατιγ' Θεσαλονικ. The name(?) and titles read: ..ο.. βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ Θεσσαλονίκης.
