Anonymus 79 was spatharios and archon of Dalmatia; owner of a seal dateable between the mid eighth century and the mid ninth: DOSeals I 14.2 = Zacos and Veglery 2637. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with .. - .. - δου - λ. in the corners. Rev.: ..... - ..... - ..παθαρ.. - αρχοντ. - Δαλματι. - ς. The titles read: ...[σ]παθαρίῳ καὶ ἄρχοντ[ι] Δαλματί[α]ς.
