Anonymus 74 was patrikios and strategos of Sicily; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century; his name was perhaps Gregorios (see below): DOSeals I 5.33 = Zacos and Veglery 2615. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε (or Κύριε) βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: ...ῳ πατρι[κί]ῳ καὶ στρα[τ]ιγῷ Σικελίας. The editors of DOSeals note that the remnants of letters in the first line on the reverse might be read as ηγο, suggesting the name Gregorios and they refer to Corpus Inscriptionum Graecarum IV 8991, but accept that this is uncertain.
