Anonymus 63 was the unnamed monk at the monastery of Balentia (two miles from Kalon Oros, in North Lydia), where he was in charge of the corn supply; he personally told Sabas 1 how the supply was miraculously maintained from May until the new harvest, although only six modioi were in store at the beginning of May and thirty were needed for the brothers each month: Vita Petr. Atr. 50, p. 167 (ὁ γὰρ τὴν διακονίαν τοῦ ἀρτοκοπείου πεπιστευμένος ἀδελφὸς). The event is narrated among events of the reign of Michael II (Michael 10).
