Anonymus 15 was an apo eparchon and genikos kommerkiarios of the apotheke of the Aigaion Pelagos; owner of a seal, from which his name is lost, dateable to the reign of the emperor Philippikos 1 (see below): DOSeals II 40.22 = Zacos and Veglery 211 = Oikonomides, Dated Seals, p. 41, no. 29. The text on the reverse reads: ..ν - ..κομμ - ..κιαριο - ..ποθηκ - ..του αι - ...πελ - ..... The seal has on the obverse an image of the emperor Philippikos 1; it also has an indiction sign, with the number missing, and part of a circular inscription, reading: ποεπαρχ... The date is therefore 711/713. On the identification of the emperor, see Oikonomides, p. 41. According to Zacos and Veglery, op. cit., note on 211, the owner of this seal was perhaps Ioannes 358 (who held this office in 713/714).
