Daughter of Eirene 10 and of Anonymus 629, Anonyma 85 is mentioned in several letters addressed to her mother by Theodore the Stoudite (Theodoros 15): Theod. Stud., Ep. 55 (a. 811/815; τῆς κυρίας τῆς θυγατρός σου; she was ill), Ep. 87 (a. 815/818; τῇ κυρίᾳ θυγατρί), Ep. 156 (a. 815/818; cited below). In one letter to her mother Theodoros 15 addresses her directly; she came of good family (ἐξ ἀγαθῆς ρίζης ἀγαθὸς ... καρπός); she had been married but her husband was apparently dead (ἐστερήθης τοῦ ὁμοζύγου); she was now in exile, though living with her father and her mother: Theod. Stud., Ep. 87. She was therefore an iconophile and a victim of the persecution under Leo V (Leo 15). She was the daughter of Eirene 10 and a fellow sufferer with her (τὴν ὅρπηκά σου καὶ σύναθλον): Theod. Stud., Ep. 156. She was dead by 820; after her death her mother retired to an island to pursue a religious life: Theod. Stud., Ep. 412 (a. 818/820). She was a hegoumene at her death, apparently at the convent of Hoi Leontes, to which she had consecrated herself long before 826 and where she was buried with other holy souls Stud., Ep. 526 (L 823/826).
