Anonyma 34 was a lady of good family living in Kyzikos (γύναιόν τι τῶν οὐκ ἀσήμων ἐν Κυζίκῳ διάγον); her only son (Anonymus 262) was possessed for nine years by a demon; she then took him to the island of Prokonnesos, to Stephen the Younger (Stephanos 2) who was then living in exile there (probably in 762 or 763) and Stephanos 2 cured him; at one stage she had appealed for support to Stephanos 2's mother, Anna 5; she and her son then returned home: Vita Steph. Iun. 151, 7-152, 1 (1152B-1153A).
