Anonyma 19 was a nun living in a convent in Sicily when she was forced to marry the tourmarches Euphemios 1; her brothers (Anonymi 37) appealed to the emperor Michael II (Michael 10), who ordered an enquiry, which led to the revolt of Euphemios 1 and the loss of Sicily to the Arabs: Theoph. Cont. II 27 (pp. 81-82).
