Anonyma 16 was the unnamed daughter of Bardanes 3 and Domnika 1; after her father's rebellion collapsed in 803, she, with her mother and brothers, was tonsured and she became a nun, though they continued to live in their own home: Theoph. Cont. I 3 (p. 10). Cf. Barka 1 and Thekla 2.
