Anonyma 13 was a lady of senatorial rank (συγκλητική τις); she lived at Nikaia in Bithynia and owned a property close to the monastery of Peter of Atroa (Petros 34) on Mt Olympus (the monastery of St Zacharias) (πλησίον χωρίον ἐχουσα); she had a five year old son who was sickly and once, while staying at that property (ἐν αὐτῷ διατρίβουσα), she took him to Petros 34, who cured him after the doctors had all failed: Vita Petr. Atr. 51 (pp. 169-171). On the sense of συγκλητικὸς, cf. Laurent, La Vie merveilleuse, p. 138, n. 1. Her husband (Bardas 12) is recorded in Vita Petr. Atr. 52 and Vita Petr. Atr. Retractata, pp. 125, 126. The date is during the reign of Michael II (Michael 10). For her estate near Mt Olympus, cf. also Anonymus 58.
