Andreas 56 was notarios in Italy, where he served under the exarch Olympios 1; in 653 he gave evidence at Constantinople against pope Martin (Martinos 6): Theod. Spoud., Commemoratio (Lat.) PL 129, 593C (= PL 87, 113C) ("et quidam eorum qui erant Olympii, cum quibus erat et Andreas qui fuerat eius notarius"). Olympios 1 was exarch from 649 to c. 652/653, and the trial of pope Martin (Martinos 6) in Constantinople was at Easter 654.
