Andreas 37 was basilikos protospatharios and strategos of the Anatolikoi; owner of several similar seals dateable to the ninth or tenth century: DOSeals III 86.45, Zacos II 91. Obv.: patriarchal cross on two steps, with a circular inscription reading: Κύριε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ. Rev.: +Ανδ - εα β' α' σπ - θαρ' και στρα - τιγ' τον Α - νατολ - .... The same person, holding the same titles, was owner also of another seal, DOSeals III 86.46. Obv.: patriarchal cross on three steps, with a circular inscription reading: ω δουλω. Rev.: +Α - εα β' - θαρ' και - τιγ' τ - νατ. The name and titles read: Ἀνδρέᾳ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ τῶν Ἀνατολικῶν.
