Seal SourcesZacos G., and Nesbitt, J., Byzantine Lead Seals, vol. II (in 3 parts), (Berne, 1984).

Anatolios 2 was hegoumenos of the monastery of St John of the Stoudion; owner of a seal dateable to the late eighth or early ninth century: Zacos II 908. Obv.: fleur-de-lis in a circular border; circular inscription reading +Κ(ύρι)ε βοή[θει] τῷ σῷ δούλῳ. The name and title read: He was a hegoumenos of the monastery of Stoudios; if the date assigned to the seal by the editors is correct, he was perhaps a predecessor of Theodore the Stoudite (Theodoros 15). Otherwise he could perhaps be identified with Anatolios 1 (early tenth century).
