Anastasios 65 was notarios regionarios of the see of Rome; he was one of the officials present at the Lateran Council in October 649, where his function was to read out documents requested by the Council; the Greek texts style him Ἀναστάσιος νοτάριος ρεγεωνάριος τῆς ἀποστολικῆς καθέδρας or τοῦ ἀποστολικοῦ θρόνου and the Latin texts "Anastasius notarius regionarius apostolicae sedis": Conc. Lat., p. 38, line 4 with p. 39, line 4 (at the second session), p. 134, line 1 with p. 135, line 1 (at the third session), p. 156, line 17 with p. 157, line 17 (at the third session). He is expressly said to have read out certain originally Greek texts in Latin translation: Conc. Lat., pp. 38-39, 134-135, 156-157.
