Anastasios 55 was basilikos spatharokandidatos; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 1709. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with .. - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Ανας - τασηω β' - σπαθαρω - κανδιδ'. The name and title read: Ἀναστασίῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαροκανδιδάτῳ.
