Anastasios 49 was meizoteros; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 1707. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Κύριε βοήθει, with .ω - σω - δου - λω. Rev.: +Ανα - στασι - ω μηζ - οτε. The name and title read: Ἀναστασίῳ μειζοτέρῳ. Possibly identical with Anastasios, basilikos meizoteros, owner of another seal also dateable to the eighth century: Ebersolt, "Sceaux byzantins" 436 = Laurent, Corpus II, no. 636. The name and title read: Ἀναστασίῳ βασιλικῷ μειζοτέρῳ. Cf. also Anastasios 34 and Anastasios 83.
