Anastasios 26 was a basilikos spatharios; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: Tsougarakis, SBS 2, p. 148, no. 34 = Xanthoudides, "Christianikai archaiotetes", p. 120, no. 7. Obv.: monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει. Rev.: Ἀναστασίῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ). The seal was found in Crete.
