Ambros 3 was basilikos silentiarios and dioiketes; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 1698. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: Αμβρω - β' σιλεντ - ιαριω και δ - .οικιτη. The name and titles read: Ἄμβρῳ βασιλικῷ σιλεντιαρίῳ καὶ διοικητῇ.
