Akroulios 1 was basilikos spatharios and droungarios of Aigaion Pelagos; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: DOSeals II 40. 5 = Zacos and Veglery 2649. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - σω - .ου - λω in the corners. Rev.: ..κρου - λιω β' σπαθ. - και δρουγγαρ. - του Αιγεου Π. - ..γου.. The name and title read: [Ἀ]κρουλίῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ δρουγγαρίῳ τοῦ Αἰγέου Πελάγους.
