Aimilios 1 was bishop of Laodikeia; owner of a seal dateable to the seventh century: DOSeals III 21. 1 = Laurent, Corpus V 1, 525. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Αιμιλιου. Rev.: +αναξ - ιου επισκο - που της Λαο - δικεων μ - ητρωπο - λεως. The name and titles read: Αἰμιλίου ἀναξίου ἐπισκόπου τῆς Λαοδικέων μητροπόλεως.
