Agnellos 3 was bishop of Misenum in Campania; he was one of the hundred and twenty- five Western bishops who attended the Council of Rome at Easter 680, and who subscribed the decree condemning monotheletism: Riedinger, p. 140, line 23 (= Mansi XI 300) (Ἀγνέλλος χάριτι Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος τῆς ἁγίας ἐν Μεσένῃ ἐκκλησίας ἐπαρχίας Καμπανίας; the see is identified as Misenum in the old Latin translation printed in Riedinger, p. 141, line 21, - "ecclesiae Misenatis").
