Sissinios 43 was patrikios and strategos; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: Laurent, Vat. 146. The name and titles read: Σισιννίῳ πατρικίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ. Cf. Winkelmann, Rangstruktur, pp. 90ff. on the difficulties of identifying the owners of this and similar seals.
