Kosmo 1 was the sister of the emperor Constantine V (Konstantinos 7) and of Eirene 12; all three were buried in the Mausoleum of Justinian at the Church of the Holy Apostles at Constantinople: Const. Porph., Cer. II 42 (Reiske, p. 645). See Rochow, Theophanes, pp. 98ff., Konstantin V, p. 222.
